What did you do to your 991 today?

Other forums I have participated to have a similar thread. You just post whatever you did to your 991: modifying, maintaining, taking pics... or simply driving it
It can be a good source of inspiration for others, the opportunity to share a special moment, etc. It is not meant to have long discussions about a specific topic for which you would start your own thread.

Well, just to open fire... I Sonax'd my wheels this morning. With the matte black finish of the wheels, you do not really see brake pad dust a whole lot, but there was a sh!tload of red Sonax after a couple of minutes!

Dreamed about mine, configured it again online. The wait is killing me.. seriously. Sold my bike today so the wife is extra happy to let me add a 3rd ride. Was going to have to decide between the 991 and an M5 in December.

I obsessed about my having added power steering plus on the wrong assumption that it would cut out at parking speed, not 31 mph. Kept hoping it is disableable by service. Looked forward to Friday April 17 for pickup at Zuffenhausen!!!

Oh and pondering if I should wait for that 991 C4S or stay with the C2S I've got on order... and of course driving my wife crazy in the process

Got to go... maybe some new spy shots have been posted

You would choose M5 over your current ride '10 Targa 4S?

Today, did some spirited driving overall in regular, sport and sport+ mode. Had a fast run reaching 225km/hr on a stretch, my highest speed so far (achieved twice thus far) in sport + mode. The car shifted to 5th gear at 225km/hr and then it was time to slow down.

120km/hr officially but you're ok till 140km/hr at least. But that becomes irrelevant and my eyes light up when I see an open stretch of highway (with hardly any cars) and in an area that I know has no radars installed. I am not talking rash or reckless driving, I don't do that. But so far getting an opportunity to touch 200km/hr almost every day before I have to slow down. Btw, this is possible only in very limited areas and stretches which may in the near future get radars installed.

Today, my better half and I went to dealer and paid for the car -- and all we got in return was the Window Sticker.

(The car is at factory awaiting ED ).
