The car is great - even during the break in, the engine has plenty of room for fun. It is going to take a while to figure our how to program all of the features. But I love the car. I took it to Atlantic City yesterday, straight from the dealer so I have put 300 miles on it in short order. The big blind spots are interseting to get use too, and the coupe is very different than my prior cab - but it is brilliant!

One note for those getting platinum silver - in some light, the car looks definitly silver. In others, it has a brown or mushroom cast - it was very cloudy in AC and from a distance, the car looked like a champagne color. Gleek48 - any news. Any more info from anyone?

Well, the CA pulled out of Houston (hopefully without my car). It looks like I should get it next week.

 

I like the color combos but dont like the strait line color break on the doors. Should have some curves so it doesnt look like 1980's

 

Those rims really are great with the silver.
I wish I could find a real life picture of those on a Agate.

 

Call your dealer. He can check inventory of other dealersand you may be able to get another dealer who has one to just sent the pictures, maybe expand to non-911s as you are just looking at color. Or call Porsche North America. Ask for a return call from Melissa Witek - her title is earlier in the string.


They will be lighter, I think. I am honestly surprised how well they worked - I was expecting to want to change them, but I love the slightly darker look other than black (which I love on white and black cars, but not others -JMO.Good luck!

 

looks really good - deviated carpet would have been too much imo. this is just enough contrast & as the seat/@ss contact point is the black it is easier to keep clean.

 

Yeah it really looks amazing...
It reminds me a lot of the the Maserati Granturismo S interior.
BTW test drove that on Friday (I know my impatience at work ) and ehmmm well... I think I'm in trouble .
