I drove the base with 7 spd and S with PDK. I came close, but am sticking with my 09 beloved 997 C2, I have it set up the way I love it; powder coated black wheels, spacers front and rear, tubi exhaust..............lo lo miles - 10,700. Couldn't feel the motivation to switch. I like alot about the 991, but do see the "300 ZX" comparison. To me, the 997 is going to be known as an iconic 911. Interior is nice on 911, couldn't see going to a smaller 3.4 engine even though base performance is much the same.

The rear of the 997 looks "badder" to me, probably a great time to scoop up a 997 turbo or turbo S.
I'm glad I test drove the 991, finally got it out of my system. IMHO, a great car to buy, but not for a 997 owner.........................
