4.0l motor in the 991
Hi guess, do you reckon Porsche will increase the motor capacity from present 3.8 to 4.0L in the foreseeable future? I think this engine can still stretch up to 4.0L max. Thank you & looking forward to all your replies soon.

Sharkwerks is already putting 4.0 in 997's. Probably in the few years Porsche will be doing it as well. But I wouldn't worry about that, the upcomming tri-turbo system sounds incredibly sick!

991 GT3 will use the 4.0 ive heard, the 3.4/3.8 will remain in the others.

Nothing short of a GT3 will get a 4.0 liter in the 991 product life. IMO
