Manual driver's is your left leg hitting the steering wheel ... mine is ...
I am trying to find the right driving position because I notice the way I am most comfortable my left leg when coming off the clutch slightly fully rubs the steering wheel right above the knee ... I don't recall this happening on my 997 but I believe the reason it is happening on the 991 is the clutch pedal is a little higher than the brake and the pedal is kind of slightly off left of the center of the steering wheel.
I tried lowering the seat but than I feel the steering wheel is too high and than I tried raising the steering wheel as well ... so far not a solution so I tried moving the steering wheel closer to me and this might be the answer ... just taking some adjustments to get it right.
Just wanting to know if others are hitting into this as well ...

I bet it will be fine. The thing is million-way adjustable.

I can lower the front cushion to make room but since I am so used to driving in the position I described it will take some time to get used to.
I didn't have this in my 997 and was wondering if others noticed or had the same issue. So please do not worry ...
Do not sweat it, there is plenty of leg room it is just the way I sit which is a 'relaxed' position, I keep the front of the seat tilted up and the back of the seat down low.

In the 991 I actually still have room left to back it up more when sliding the seat back (unlike the 996 & 997 which will sit at the back of the tracks).
Thanks for the clarification though and enjoy that beauty.

Cheers!

I sat in an MT (the car was sold - so couldn't drive) and it seemed fine. As others have pointed out adjust seats for best fit.
I'm 6'1" with a disproportionately short torso and I have no problem with my left leg hitting the door or the steering wheel. I have the 14-way power seats and that gives me more than enough seating computations to find comfort
Thank you for the kind welcome.
I went to buy a road bike (the kind with pedals and no motor) and when getting fit the fella at the store told me I have very long legs and no torso. I thought, that sounds odd but hey, let's embrace it.
