Has anybody installed either of these rear spoilers? I'm also curious about pricing of each. Thanks.

Is there any risk of putting too much downforce on the already heavy rear while not adding any to the front? For example, if someone were to buy the spoiler only, would their front end become dangerously light at triple digit speeds?

I don't think that is worth worrying about.
The tiny amount of down force the wing applies is less than having a passenger in the back seat.
If a small weight differential, like that, could cause you to loose control, you should avoid triple digit speeds, period.

I do wonder if there is any benefit though.
For instance, Spoiler 1 would be purely cosmetic.
Even Spoiler 2 might be hard to notice any handling difference.

I kind of like Spoiler 1, but wonder how it looks with the wing up.

It's not really the weight differential that gets me, it's the fact that the 911's front end is notoriously light, and even Porsche says that you cannot use their rear spoiler without the accompanying downforce change up front that their front fascia provides. That's my concern.

Are there any pics with the Type I spoiler up yet? I can't seem to find any on the net. Not even on the Teacart site. They keep pushing the Type II spoiler.
