GT Porsche Article: Carrera vs Carrera S

The June GT Porsche Magazine has an interesting 13 page article qualitatively comparing the 991 Carrera to the 991 Carrera S. Their conclusion seems to be that the S with PDDC may be able to take corners at a higher speed, but has a totally different character. They talk about the Carrera feeling more like a traditional 911 and the Carrera S not. They also talk in more detail about the power steering plus feel and actions it takes during max performance turning. Unfortunately, the Carrera uses the 19” wheels with Goodyear tires so there is a shortfall in their comparison but it’s well worth the read.

I agree with the traditional feeling, with 350HP you are closer to 997 in terms of performance.

Thanks Chuck - just downloaded the app. I keep going back to the base every time I configure the S - don't know why.
