Man this is the longest I've EVER waited for a car.
My sales guy and a few others from the dealer where in Germany this last week and I was hoping they'd come back with some production news about the 991 C4S...

I can't wait to see it on the configurater!
Or better jet in my garage.

This is fantastic...adaptive cruise control will be an option I'll be getting...how about blind spot warning....any ideas that it'll be offered? It may not make sense on 911 though...

No information on 'blind spot warning' on the 991, something that has been offered by MB (and others) in certain models since MY2008.

'Adaptive Cruise Control' will be available only on PDK transmission 991's and is already offered in certain 991 markets by PAG (e.g. Dubai). Hopefully, it will be on PCNA's configurator soon. I love it on my MB (where it's called 'Distronics Plus'). I don't know when/if it will be offered on the 981.

Saludos,
Eduardo

Blind spot warning seems to be known as lane change assist (LCA) in Porsche lingo. Its been in the Cayenne option list for at least a couple of years. My dealer orders it in most of its Cayennes. Would be useful in the sports cars too given the restricted rear vision.
