Thanks for the heads up!
Man this is the longest I've EVER waited for a car.
My sales guy and a few others from the dealer where in Germany this last week and I was hoping they'd come back with some production news about the 991 C4S...
I can't wait to see it on the configurater!
Or better jet in my garage.

For real? Maybe it will be on the configurator on Monday?

Please note the optional 'Adaptive Cruise Control' (center/lower front bumper) on the last photo shown of the Carrera 4S coupe! This option will soon appear in our PCNA configurator and will be offered on our 991 models starting later this Fall! It also shows it with the glass sunroof which is expected to be re-listed soon as an option (after experiencing production delays due to supply or quality control issues - we don't know yet exact cause!).

'Adaptive Cruise Control' will be available only on PDK transmission 991's and is already offered in certain 991 markets by PAG (e.g. Dubai). Hopefully, it will be on PCNA's configurator soon. I love it on my MB (where it's called 'Distronics Plus'). I don't know when/if it will be offered on the 981.

Blind spot warning seems to be known as lane change assist (LCA) in Porsche lingo. Its been in the Cayenne option list for at least a couple of years. My dealer orders it in most of its Cayennes. Would be useful in the sports cars too given the restricted rear vision.
