Warped!
Warped!
It is there. Just where the front plastic bumper meets the hood on the driver's side two warped divots about 3 inches across. You can see them if you stand back and observe an uneven reflection from an otherwise perfect view. The dealer said that they will order a new bumper, prime paint and replace.
My question is: will the replacement paint and finish equal the factory's original?
What's your experience?
Am I being to picky?
Dealer said he noticed this defect on two other cars. Anyone see it on your 991?

Really depends on how noticeable it is,...how 'bout some pix? I try to stay away from any sort of paint work/panel replacement at all costs if I can, but sometimes it can't be avoided. A good body shop that knows what they are doing should have no problem making it look right in the end.
The only problem I have with a newly painted front bumper is that the paint will be pretty soft for about 30 days or so,...and very prone to new blemishes. So if you do have it done, wait as much as possible to actually street drive it and leave it out in the sun as much as possible. It does help a lot. Good luck with your choice.
