...looks extraordindary the GT silver As i received another painful delay on the glass roof of another few weeks, i cancelled my C2S order and made it to become the C4S they announced Jan 13 for production incl. the glass roof, what's your delivery date fester?

 

I'm told end of December or beginning of Jauary. Hopefully I get it by Dec 31 (my birthday )

Absolutely...you could count on it. But the funny thing is, all I've driven so far is C2S (both 991/997). I'm actually planning to drive 997 GTS4/4S today to get a feeling for awd vs rwd. I know that awd sticks well but not sure it'll feel heavier than 2wd or same or better...there're a LOT of opinions around each one being better but I'd like to judge myself.

When I drove 997 C2S vs 991 C2S there's marked difference (in a good way) in 991 drive... So not sure if 997 4S/GTS4 give me a good feeling how 9914S is going to be. 991 4/4s demo cars arrive sometime in Nov...that's when I guess I'll know for sure.

 

I drove the 991 Base MT and I will tell you that it didn't feel all that different from the Targa4S I own - maybe a little less powerful and more push/pull in turns courtesy of AWD but the planted feeling of the 991 is evident compared to the C2 997.2 I had driven in the past. Look forward to reviews - its a special car and I am sure you will all enjoy. I am still holding out for the GT3 or Targa - will see what the wallet hit feels like after the M5

Is that because it's a 4S or does it usually take that long?

 

The build starts sometime in Nov. the allocation hasn't opened yet, but I'll be the first one after their demo cars. I've been told the it'll be in Jan or as late as begin feb...I sure hope that it won't be th case...

 

Drove 997 gts4 today..it was fantastic! I'm sure I've made correct decision!!
