I thought one of the reasons to do this was to save money on the 19" tires. I priced out those rims and all 4 were over $4,500. Unless I am missing something you can buy a whole lot of 20" tires for $4,500.

My comment is to the OP. He is not running track tires so I don't understand the point or the savings if the wheels are that expensive. You spend $4,500 plus on new rims just so you can save a few hundred dollars replacing 19" OEM tires instead of 20" Again maybe I am missing something.

Yeah, that doesnt really make sense to me either. I went with the OZ ultraleggera HLT instead of the Superforgiata. They are quite a bit less expensive. under $2k

this makes for a far better setup than stock wheels and tires. You get loads more grip with a dedicated track tire
