Often we complain about Issues. Has Ne1 had 0 Prob's/Great experience New 911 - 991?
4 track days later the engine feels stronger and no discernible oil consumption, unlike my 997.2 with 1 quart every 1100 miles. Brake hold up very well on repeated hard stops, PSE sounds glorious on track, I was complimented by several GT3 drivers on the exhaust sound.
Car is in shop for open campaigns, but there has been no issues for me. Quality is just phenomenal on this car.

I'm counting on it. haha. A friend has a Panamera Turbo and told me he has to add 1/2 quart of oil every 500 miles. Furthermore after he checked it out that seems to be normal for all the turbos. Is that true for the non turbo 911-2s or 4s as well?
My 911 has been a Great! Experience.

Got 7.7K miles in over a year...never had to add oil (beyond a couple of oil changes...one at 3K...other after a year)
11. And without a doubt, the 991 is the best- although I must admit my increasing age influences me a bit

I am absolutely shocked at the low oil consumption rate of the 991. I changed the oil at 7000 miles and now at 11,000 it's still on one block down. In the early days you could run through a quart in 700-1,000 miles and the dealer would call it normal. And then there's the lack of blue smoke on start-up! Love it!!!

I wrestled with this issue and came to realize that it is the best of both worlds. It's a luxury daily driver cruiser when you want that and a very well balanced, quick handling sports car when you want that....and, as a bonus, it has all the modern ( ok, most ) technology that is available today...
You may want to find a canyon road....and then reconsider selling.
You didn't realize this when you test drove the car?

Have had our 991 for a year and a half now with zero problems. After having it I now understand "PORSCHE THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE" or "PORSCHE NOTHING ELSE EVEN COMES CLOSE" or "PORSCHE 911 NOTHING ELSE MATTERS". One of the best and most enjoyable cars I have ever had.
All these years considering myself a car guy and I never really looked twice. Then about a month ago on a whim I decided to go for a test drive. Game over...hopefully will have a liveable deal in hand within the week and should expect delivery May/June. Best thing I did was to rent one for 4 days - I was sold by the end of day two. lol. And let me say of all the car forums I've been a part of over the years, Porsche owners in general seem to be the overall happiest & satisfied.
