Great idea. Did that with my Ducati - right after the break in period I changed the oil. You could see very tiny metal shavings in the bottom of the oil pan. My bad, didn't think of doing that with the car -thanks for the wake up call.

 

OP, no complaints but not blown away by it either. It's my first Porsche but I was kind of expecting more. I will say I like it more the longer I have it but there's no visceral thrill with it. It's a very capable sports car. Comfortable but not luxury. For everyday? It's a great car. Id rather drive the spyder for fun though and the Benz if Im Stuck in traffic or going a really long way. The distance control cruise is incredible in traffic though, I will admit.

 

No probs so far. It's been great!
