Loaded 991 - What's it worth?
I'm looking at this 991. It's got everything I want except for the PSE. What do you guys think it's worth?

That one is a tricky question. If it is optioned as you like as well as your colors, than, I would start in the mid 90's
Hey You can call me a bottom feeder if you want, lol but I would go in there one day, and test drive it 4 times, then go in the next day at 10:am and barter until 11:45am, go have lunch and haggle some more. At some point they will implode, and beg you to take the car from their hands...
I enjoy a good haggle, and like my friend always say's, "No worry, Bring the wife and we'll dicker..."
Just my 2 peas in a pod

Good choice. Almost as loaded as mine. Pardon my lame bragging. :0) Seek a 10 to 14k price reduction and pull the trigger if you're serious. PDCC and chrono together are awesome as in performs like a super car.
I wouldn't get it with no PSE. Add'l equipment mentions sport exhaust with PDLS but not PSE button in console.
Also, no full leather which is a popular option. So probably keep looking.
As for what you should pay for this. Probably no more than the base price of a 991 S. i.e. option prices, just strike them off.

There are several potential problems or red flags for me. The build date and the selection of options make me believe that this is one of the launch vehicles. It has PASM, but no PDCC, no PSE, but has Burmeister and Sports Chrono. It is not at the Porsche dealer, but at a Ferrari dealer. IMHO, i would be worried that is of the early 991's that had an engine problem or the sealing problem that needed to have the entire car disassembled and then reassembled.

Where exactly are you getting these numbers from? Are they auctions prices, private sales prices?
I would look at Manheim auction sales for similarly priced car to get some sort of idea what the market looks like. Otherwise the 991 is so new that getting an accurate resale value is difficult.

I got a 10.5% discount in early September on a 2012.5 "S" optioned almost just like this. It was brand new (3/12 build) and I put all the miles on it except for the first 30. It was exactly what I wanted except for a PSE which I can add later. I think a pre-owned one should probably go for less than that.
My 2 cents.

Thanks for the input so far...
How are you determining the build date? Can someone post more info on the early engine problems and 'sealing problem?'
How important do you guys think the PDCC is for this car?

NC dealer. They were willing to work with me to move 2012 inventory off the lot. I got lucky in finding what I wanted. Good luck with your search.
