Multi function steering wheel

It appears that the 991 multi function steering wheel no longer controls the central console. Instead it controls the cluster next to the rpm gauge.... This makes this feature totally worthless.... On the 997.2 you could control the entire central console..... What the....

I believe you may have been misinformed.

Well I don't have it in my possession yet, but the display in the gauge cluster is basically a copy of the center console,.....so you don't have to take your eyes far off the gauges. It's a great feature of the 991.

I may have misunderstood your initial post.
You want the Cluster display and console display to be synchronized when using the MF steering?

I would like the MF steering to control the center console just as I was able to in my 997.2. That feature is no longer available. I have now only control of the cluster display is very limited in its functions... For example, I can no longer enter destination address via the MF steering control. HELP....

The function of the MF steering wheel kicks a$$. I love scrolling thru the info. sometimes I even look up at the road.

MF wheel controls are great when the wife is flipping through various media on the PCM and I am checking vehicle performance at the same time on my gauges using the MF wheel. It's a better arrangement than my old 997 MF setup.
