Hi White991,

I have your identical twin (well almost). Just took delivery from Stuttgart in Sept. I agree that the timing of the COE could definitely have been better.

Hi Remus, congrats on your new ride. You're from BMW SG forum?

Used to own a BMW E46 325ci but i hardly post there nowadays. Do post your driving impressions of the car once you take delivery. Would be nice to hear your thoughts on the PSE which i do not have.

After a month with the car i am still very enamoured by the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the 991. It feels like driving two cars if you know what i mean. The sleek minimalistic design and the bulbous front head lights are also very endearing.

Hey Lawrence!

Long time no see. If i am not wrong you must be somewhere in California at the moment. I also remember seeing a picture of a boxster on your FB. How's life in the states bro? My 991 is almost exactly like White991's. I posted up a pic of it outside capella a few posts ago.

Having had a guards red 997 for five years i figured it was a good time for a change of color. Besides white contrasts well with the red rear leds on the car.

Yeah, still in the sf bay area. Good weather all year round, just had a baby, having fun at work - life is good. Come visit us! Kian fai is here too.

Nice car!

I am actually selling my boxster now. Still torn between white and aqua blue.

Agree that the white contrasts very well with the red lights but I also like blue, so not sure yet.

Do you have a black interior? I am also torn about interior colors.

I see that you have the carerra classic wheels, very nice! Definitely getting that.

Congrats on your newborn Lawrence! It sounds like u are almost ready to pull the trigger on a 991. I think you can't go wrong with either white or blue. The darker blue will contrast well with the front LEDs.

Carrera classics are such a great option. The chrome spokes extending to the edge of the rim make them look bigger than 20 inch. The titanium portion nicely contrasts well with white while the chrome spokes really pop out in a darker car. Very versatile indeed and I am very glad that I ordered it.

My car has a black interior with full leather. I like the terracotta/white combo in the 997 but unfortunately terracotta was not available for the 991. Settled on black cos I did not want to worry too much about color transfer from say my jeans to the seat and wanted a low maintainence interior that I could keep clean and pristine for many years to come ... Well at least until the next model comes up

What interior colours are you torn between and have you roughly decided on the options?

Great color, congrats. You will love the ride. My 991 is still at the dealer for a few additional items. I prefer the platinum wheels with the white. Mine is slightly more retro with the duckbill.

Dochusar>> Love your car, I too prefer white, platinum wheel, and glass roof contrast. You gotta love what you have/ordered . Definately you are very excited. We all can see you post your car pics everywhere but missed posting on "991 Picture Thread - Upload Yours!"

I am deciding between black and espresso. My current 3 cars have either black or gray leather so I am kind of leaning towards trying something new. However, I am not sure if espresso matches white or blue.

As for the other options:
991 S
Carerra Classic wheels
Sports Seat Plus
PDK
SPASM
PSE
Sports Chrono
Bose
Sports Design Steering wheel

I ordered white with espresso. I think it will look great together.

I wanted to change to espresso too after I locked my orders. But the dealer told me that it may delay my delivery. I now sort of regretted that I didn't go ahead with the change. The espresso is really nice and make the interior feels even more plush.
