How long the production usually takes?

Hello,

I ordered my car on the 11th of october as a November production

My order locked on the 8th of november and the dealer called today saying that the production will start on week 47 which is the 19th of this month

The tracking on the dealers system also indicates that the production is estimated to finish on the 14th of december. Does it usually take that long with the production? For memebers who ordered previously how long your production period was? Is it the same with every car or differs on the options you have?

It will vary based on a number of variable. You dealers allocation and the date of the build slots is very key. The options you select is also a factor. Sometimes you get lucky and get a build slot that is very close to your order date, sometimes it can be a month or three before the build will start. In either case, once the car hits the paint shop it is usually completed and ready for final inspection within two weeks.
