Online services

For those of you that have online services hoping you can answer a few questions.
The Porsche site has this info listed for online services.

"The free AHA Radio app enables you to listen to internet radio, news feeds, pod* casts and audiobooks on the PCM via your smartphone. You can also receive local information, e.g. weather reports, in the form of voice announcements. Points of Interest can be searched for and then transferred to the navigation system as destinations. Internet content is received via your smartphone but you operate everything from the PCM. Online services can only be used in conjunction with the standard*fitted universal audio interface (iPhone) or the optional mobile phone preparation or telephone module (Android phones). The AHA Radio app can be obtained from iTunes and the Android Marketplace.4)"

As I understand it, coming standard is Bluetooth integration which will allow you to connect your iPhone using the cable or not using the cable. You can listen to music on your phone, pandora, and make calls.
Where I'm confused is where online services says you can use an app to listen to online music, news feeds, weather. Additionally Points of Interest can be searched for and then transferred to the navigation system as destinations. Internet content is received via your smartphone but you operate everything from the PCM. How would that work and more importantly what Internet content can you operate from the PCM.

Finally for those of you that have it, do you feel it's of value or is the basic Bluetooth integration sufficient?

I opted for it so I don't regret later. It's an inexpensive option to get IMO...

I don't think that any cars have been delivered to the US yet with this option. Maybe someone in Europe has it already.

Like Fester, I ordered it on mine to be safe. It's inexpensive enough.
