Euro Delivery - earliest possible for 2014 model

I'm considering ED in summer of 2013. Is it possible to get a 2014 for delivery around July 2013 at factory?

Not sure about 2014s, but I took Z delivery of my 2013 on 20 June 2012.

Usually the German carmakers start their new model year right after the summer break... so I would guess early September.

This year the first 2013 991's were delivered in June 2012. BMW is all over the map. My 650 was first delivered in Sept (after the break) while my 535 was available in June the calendar year before model year.

Thanks for this inputs. Would the dealers be able to tell me definitively when I place the order? Or, could i be surprised with a 2013 after expecting a 2014?

Yes, any dealer can tell you when 2014 production starts once Porsche announces it, probably in the Spring. Just make sure your order specifies a 2014 model. Alternatively, you can deal directly with Jamie Dillon who is in charge of the ED program, Jamie.dillon@porsche.us.
