Getting Car out of Container
Getting Car out of Container
Hi all. I'm having a 2012 cab with about 3 months of driving on it shipped in a container. They disconnected the battery and closed but didn't lock the car. The luggage compartment is closed. Car hasn't arrived yet but I'm trying to formulate a plan. I will take a fully charged battery and cables to open the luggage compartment. I'll reconnect that battery and check the voltage. From other posts the car seems very sensitive to low voltage for a start. I have a PDK that will be in park so won't roll out of the container unless I take the console apart to force it out of park or if the car starts normally. It will have been in transit for about 2 months. Any suggestions of what I should do or not do? Thanks for any inputs. Can't wait.
Jack up the back, place plates with wheels under the rear and/or all tires, lower car push it out.
