It sounds crazy but I totally believe it!

In my previous place (waterfront property neighborhood) there were 2 guys who would come at all hours of the day to take garage remote control's out of cars parked in the driveway (locked or not).
Turns out they even cloned their own remotes for the cars which had an garage door system integrated in the car....

Obviously not druggies at work but it sure scarred the crap out of my wife when she walked out to her car and saw a guy bolting from it, jump into a car at the road and peel out!

In the end it turned out these 2 characters who got, keys, remotes etc from the cars sold them to 2 other gangs... one came during the day (and were caught in the act) emptying a house of ALL valuables with a huge moving van (signs, overalls, dolly's etc.)...
The other group was 2 guys who would enter the house at night...

I always used to think that having a beautiful house with nice things and an awesome garage was not my cup of tea if it meant being in a gated community (golden cage) but now I feel very differently about that!
