The Sport Design package includes not only the Sport Design front bumper with distinctive spoiler lip, but also a rear spoiler that emphasizes the ultra sporty look of the new 911 model range and helps to reduce lip. This duck-tail type spoiler will give your Carrera a classic look and flair, and will be a collector's favorite for years to come.

Can I order the rear duck tail only?

 

As a Factory retrofit Porsche has only released the full Aerokit at this time. We're hoping the rear ducktail will become available separately in the near future. It sure does look great on the cars we've sold to

 

Porsche don't want just the rear installed as you get too much rear downforce, thus forcing the front up which can cause steering problems at high speed. They had the same issue/restriction back when the original ducktail came out in the early 70's. Porsche is ok with just the front but not just the rear.

Looks good but don't hold your breath on the wing only ,you still can't buy a 997tt aero kit wing without buying the whole kit.

 

yeah I love the ducktail - but that's all I would be looking for. I understand the downforce issue.

Is it possible to get just the front lip from the AeroKit version?

 

Porsche is not just ok, in fact they are totally opposed to just installing the ducktail. The front Sport Design bumper is offered by Porsche as a stand alone option on the 991 so it must be approved.
