Wait a couple of years until the price is down to what you are comfortable paying. A salvage title will always be 'salvage'. It'll be difficult to get rid of if there are problems.

Just to be clear - the car does NOT have a salvage title. Per seller, the car was in a minor accident (his fault) and right front headlight and bumper was replaced. No frame or other major damage - mainly cosmetic.

I was actually looking at 08 - 09 997's in the same price range when I saw this car - which is still under factory warrant as well - so I am seriously considering it. Thanks for feedback.

In that case, do it, price is really low for a 991.

Forget about resale and just determine if this is a good deal...if so then sign & drive!!
