Need help with glass moonroof

Is there a dealership in NYC area that knows how to repair the squeak in the glass moonroof? Is there a bulletin out there from Porsche? Thanks in advance.

Guys I'm not very familiar with the 991 glass roof but if the 997 Targa is any guide, you can expect your roof to start squeaking again in due time. Porsche tech approach is to lube the living heck out of the runners, but in my experience that's a temporary solution, especially in the cold.

I recommend going to 997 forum and doing a search on McLube. TomE found that solution and I think it's the better one.

bensonJ is infamous around these parts
There is a workshop campaign for lubing the seals for the glass panel roof. Any dealer you go to should check for any and all workshop campaigns any time you go in.

They have already did the lube to no avail.... My 997.2 Targa 4S had similar issue that was resolved with the lube.... But you can't compare Targa full glass roof with the small one I have on my 991 SC.
