I think that there were very few 09's that did not burn a lot of oil. Every 200 miles I would have to clean off my back bumper because it was loaded with soot particles! The exhaust pipes were always black.

They had to have made some major revisions to the 991's engine. I know that the injectors are different for one. Maybe the rings too? I have not read about 991's using oil like the first 9A1 engines did.
