I'm looking at ordering an Agate Grey with a luxor beige interior.

I previously had an 09 Cayman S, Black with beige interior. The center console was painted black in that car. I changed the steering wheel and floormats from beige to black in that car, and I felt that it nicely broke up the beige monotony.

Is it possible to order my car with the standard steering wheel in black (rather than beige) and standard floormats also in black?

Will I be charged for this luxury??

You need to order the Black/Beige two-tone interior package.

 

I didn't want the 2 tone, and didn't want to pay that price (i.e. black dash, carpeting, etc) I just wanted the standard steering wheel and floormats in black. If this can't be done during ordering, I'll happily sell my standard items once I receive the car, and purchase them in black. No big deal. Would just be more efficient to order them that way.

 

Yep, you can - it's the Z options that only the dealer can see on their login
I just added black to my red interior - wheel boss and rim ($160 each), dash top and tops of doors, and same behind. All in about $1500.
Strangely the gear lever alone was $1000+, just to change from red to black....
I'm swapping with someone here who wants a Red PDK!

 

Love your interior choice! I just picked up a 13 991 black with luxor beige. It looks whole lot better than the beige interior I had in my 06 Boxster.

 

Not sure about the wheel but under interior-leather at the very bottom is leather-lined floor mats in deviated color. About $600 but you can get black mats with beige leather trip and stitching. If you choose this option you actually get two sets of mats - beige ones that match your interior plus the black ones with the leather trim - or so I was told by the PCA consultants - Melissa.

 

go for deviated carpeting - not much more than special order mats.

if you order the steering wheel you might want to think about getting the steering column in balck leather as well otherwise you have a black steering wheel and luxor steering column.
