997 CS Cab, any options I am missing that are must haves

Looking at getting an Agate w Black int S Cab with manual transmission.

The dealer already has one on the lot.
Do these options look good?
Is there anything I am missing?
Also they are charging $1,600 for a 2 year wheel and tire package. What rates have others received for a 2 year deal?

Options are very specific to each owner. Hard to know what you find necessary or not. That being said it looks like the car you have there is nicely equiped with some great options!
My car should finally be here in a couple of weeks and I am also interested in knowing the price of others tire and wheel package.

seems it doesn't have PSE... that's a must in my opinion.. but seems this can be retrofitted by the dealer.. so negotiate this in before you make a deal :-)

Looks a lot like mine, excepting colors and Burmester. Many will say Sport Exhaust is a must. I would say PASM is something I would grab, don't remember if that is mandatory for Chrono Package. You have a very comfortable ride there. You would be fine with what is already there. Power steering plus is not needed, 6disc CD changer, not needed (USB), but I think it comes automatically with the stereo. Entry and Drive has me spoiled, I had to have that! Anyway, nice collection of extras there.

As for the wheel/tire warranty, I want to say mine was for five years at about the same price, my memory may be wrong and I don't feel like getting out of bed to check the paperwork now. I think it is very much worth it. I have already gone through both rear tires due to screws and need to get a wheel buffed up to remove the buffing I got from a curb
(please don't take car away from me!).

You need to read the "FINE PRINT" in tire package contract, my experience is they are basically worhless with all of the exclusions they have in the fine print. There is about 100% profit margin on these add on packages for the dealers.

Agree with all the PSE recommendations. I see a lot of guys add it after. It may seem like a lot know, but it will cost you more later. Once you experience it, you will find, like the rest of us, IT IS SO WORTH IT!!

Normally I agree. It's an insurance. It's completely worthless until you need it. In my case, knowing we were driving across the country NSEW, it was a relatively inexpensive gamble. In my case it is paying off.

And yes, it was for five years (four remaining) for approximately $1500.

The Burmester is so clear even at high volumes. It was my last addition, either Burmester or PDCC. Been happy ever since.
