I heard this morning that may car is through PDI, has a window sticker and is going on a truck soon. If I'm lucky it will show up at my dealer this afternoon, but worst case they expect it early next week.

Mine was on that boat. Was told on Wednesday that it had been through customs but not yet through PDI.
However, as luck would have it Porsche is apparently upgrading their New Car Status system. It went dark at the end of the day yesterday and won't be back up until the 6th or 7th. So dealers are blind. No way right now for any of them to know where their cars are until them. In the case of San Diego or LA cars, they might just show up at the dealers completely unannounced on the 4th-6th.

Each film is different. The one we use, XPEL Ultimate, does not swirl easy. It's not impossible, but it's one of the best films out there and durability is one reason why. If you do get swirls or get minor issues, it's self-healing properties are best on the market. Most times, slight heat, say from warm water, takes care of most issues.

Since several of you have PMd me about installing XPEL Ultimate on your 991, I'm putting this out there. Just got word. My car should arrive in Vancouver on a train along with 5-6000 other cars on Saturday.
Dealer expects to get it about Wednesday and hopefully I might get a week Friday. Hope Hope Hope.
