Aftermarket Exhaust? Anyone?
We're selling quite a few of the Tubi systems for both the S and non-S cars. (there is a difference). Here's a vid of our system on a C2S...
Keep in mind, the S exhaust is valved, and the non-S is not.

Tom, we spoke about wheels a week or so ago, you were suppose to email me some info for my 991 C4S.
We're working on a new microphone setup to help get a little more accurate sound.Do you mind PM'ing me your email address again? I had an Outlook meltdown last week and unfortunately lost a lot of info from my inbox.
Yeah, the audio quality in the videos doesn't really do it justice.

Not true. Get your aftermarket exhaust supplier to guarantee that in writing for you, or better, get Porsche to put that in writing for you. You won't get either one to do it. Porsche has become very strict on honoring warranty claims and requires documentation of the problem and repair, including photos. My service adviser told me when I was thinking about installing the Sharkwerks bypass pipe on my GTS that if I had any type of exhaust issues such as cracked welds or valve problems with my PSE, Porsche would most likely deny the claim. They said that I would have to put the exhaust back to stock for the required pictures before they could do the repair and submit the claim.
He said Porsche has also denied warranty claims on failed engine seals because of aftermarket exhaust systems, claiming that the aftermarket exhaust altered back pressure in the engine causing seal failure.
I have a friend that sold a GT3 RS with a modified exhaust to a person in Texas. New owner had a problem with an engine seal and the original owner had to ship all the OE exhaust pieces to him so he could put the exhaust back to stock before warranty work would be performed.

They have to prove that its the exhaust that caused the failure, they simply cannot deny your claim.
That.... is very nice indeed. I just checked their website, and found out that it's quite expensive too. nearly 8k.
Iam on the fence about going with the Fabspeed exhaust. This one in particular.

The fabspeed exhaust that is on the blue 991 is 2200.00 dollars.
Have you guys looked into Caractere Exclusive exhaust? Pretty reasonably priced compared to the Akra, and can be shipped to CA unlike Akra.
My car is not due to arrive till late May, but I ordered the Akra exhaust today plus the wireless kit...can't wait to get the car first, then install the exhaust.
Think I'll wait till after break in though to install it. Post up reviews once I have some time with it.
