Woke up and it was snowing. As we get very few snow days a year its always somewhat of a special occasion. So I took the car out and took a few pics by the lake behind our house.

No Fester. No snow tires installed. We may get 10 days of snow a year and therefore most folk don't bother with snow tires around here.

Haku,
Nice pic's. Glad to see that you're driving it in the snow.
Never quite understood the whole winter storage thing - (No flames please).
At my last abode it snowed on and off for 4 months, and I couldn't imagine shelving my 993/4S for that long.

Being a fellow Platinum Silver owner, it really does look completely different depending on the ambient light.
Some days it looks champagne, and at other times a matte stainless-steel / aluminum color (as shown above).
My service adviser even asked me if I had ordered a special color!

lovely pictures! it makes me "just" thrilled that i picked that color for my 991 too.
in seattle it doesn't snow much either---zero to 5 days per winter. still debating whether i should get dedicated winter tire/wheels, or just switch out stock pirelli's to michelin pss's and maybe have chains as a back up.
