I have all formats playing in Juke box, including AAC files. It actually indicates AAC on PCM screen. I'm out traveling...will post pics when I return.

Must be how I am ripping them then... Maybe I'll try another program. I have used iTunes and XLD so far.

It's funny I see this thread right now because I just built a 991 today for the sake of dreaming.

I chose a C4S and went with GT Silver over Espresso... It wouldn't let me do the full Espresso, though. What's the deal with that?

Anyways, given the fact that my current Porsche is Silver over FULL (very full) Cocoa leather with Adaptive's, it is obvious that our tastes are similar. What is down right scary is that my build and your build are almost identical!!

The main difference is that I chose Bose instead of Burmester and used the "saved" money to opt for PCCB's.

edit- I wish I took a screen shot so I could show you just how close our builds are. Difference is you're actually living it. CONGRATS! and I mean that more than ever before. You're in my dream machine.

John

Perk10, great minds think alike

I just LOVE it every day I sit in it, drive it or even by just merely looking at it. It's everything I wanted in a 911. I gambled as none of such examples were available but result is just beautiful! I have no regrets regarding even a single option I got and the ones I didn't get (perhaps pccbs?? )

Not sure why they don't offer full espresso any longer...it's just a perfect combo!!

Your note is very flattering and I hope you get in one soon. Drop me a note when you get to visit Bay Area and perhaps we could meet up over coffee etc . Cheers!

Great pics. Great car! My 2014 build will be very similar (different interior and wheel option). I too opted not to get PCCB. Was going to go with agate grey but in the end knew the GT silver would be worth it.

Wonderful pictures. Your 991 is a beauty. I have a GT Silver TT on the way. I am glad I chose it over Rhodium Silver. The RS is nice, but he GT Silver is such classic Porsche.

I love PCCBs and envy those who have it (like JoeInDallas ) but after many days of thinking, I didn't go that route...I'm planning on tracking but not sure when. I baby my car (don't open windows etc).. so just feel like when I track, will likely not do it in my 911 - another reason I didn't go with PCCB.

I'm assuming you are planning on getting C4S too...which interior and wheels options you have configured?

Anything new to the car Fester? It's been over a YEAR since this thread! Bet it flew by

Have you taken the car to the track yet or decided another vehicle would be better to preserve the condition of yours? Hope all is well

Hey john,

Yes time flies by isn't it...taking it to 2 yrs service soon. No track miles, it's my daily driver though...put 11K miles in 2 years (work is close )... just love it every time ..every day!

Got rear tires changed...(passenger side rear..twice!) so glad had tires/wheel warranty! Got Porsche frunk mat and the hood undercover...just minor things. Keeping it stock, as planned

How's your 997? In the Bay Area, see too many 991's...I bet the same in FL!
