Wanted to start a thread to share my build, purchasing experience and
of course pictures when it finally arrives. This is my very first
Porsche and the order was placed 1/25/13. I was told by my dealer that they were able to trade out an allotment slot and my build should be
completed 3/18/13 so I am hoping to have the car early April. I am pretty excited and look forward to actually contributing some first hand experiences with the car instead of just reading about them. I included my final build specs, hopefully it turns out well. Cheers!

I had the Burmester system at first but I am taking advantage of the two year lease deal they have and there is a lease cap that I still went over even with the Bose

Thank you, I was shooting for a Jekyll and Hyde type of car. Comfortable day to day but at a flick of a switch away from full on fun race mode.

 

Congrats on the build... My build date is 3/15, it takes about six weeks after that to get the car. That's what I have been told or they are just trying to manage my expectations.

I believe you are correct, I hope to get hopefully later in April. Which actually works out great as PFS is also paying the last three months of my BMW lease

 

I am hoping it is drastic change from normal mode. I think this is going to be a fun car
