You say Carrera- I say Carrara
Turns out we're both right - except when we're talking the "white" color on Porsche....
Found this out recently:
"Carrara is a city in the Massa Carrara province of Tuscany, Italy, famous for the white or blue-gray marble quarried there. It is on the Lavensa river, some 60 miles west northwest of Florence."
- hence the color name spelled '"Carrara" white -
"Porsche uses the Carrera name on its top models to honor the company's success in the Carrera Panamericana race".
White - regardless of the spelling:

Quick story: I learned about the "carrara white" a while back when a member on another forum, who loves porsches, ordered his Ferrari Scuderia in carrara white...what a beauty!
