Finally placed my order today It's going to be my first Porsche. I'm so excited. I ended up putting in a deposit for a 2014. I was only able to get a April allocation so it made more sense to wait two extra months and order the first 2014 instead. The waits going to be hell! Here's my build

hope i'm not hijacking the thread - i just placed a deposit for an April 3rd build. i didn't think about delaying it two months for a MY14. are there any changes/improvements expected? i don't really want to wait another two months or more, but if there's some substantial benefit i'm open to considering it.

Really well thought out choices - looks like you did your homework. I am on the tail end of a 6 month wait as are some others on here. My observation is that the loooong wait makes the excitement about delivery so much more intense. I haven't been this excited about something in a few years. So, make sure you stick to your guns and get the 2014 you want.
