frenzy is infamous around these parts
the OP looks like he is in Sweden, US

he should be price protected, there was a bulletin out in Dec/Jan from PCNA about how dealers will be compensated the 2.6% price difference:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-2013-a-5.html

if they aren't giving it to him, they are just trying to rip the OP off and pocket extra PCNA money and resell the car at the new invoice price.

My bad. Couldn't tell he was from Dubai as im using the iphone app to post, but thanks for pointing that out. In this case he would probably be dealing with the same dealer my friend bought it from (we only have one exclusive P dealer here in Dubai) and should push them to waive the increase and write to Porsche Middle East for additional ammo.

He refused to hold on to 96000$ and argued I had to pay the new price.

Was this OK ? The company is in California and I am not sure of consumer law in this state.

Comments ?
The salesman is definitely trying to rip you off. Speak to a Sales Manager about the issue. If he refuses to budge, point out that the dealers were compensated $2600 as others have said and tell him that if he would like, you could email him the bulletin handed out to dealers from PCNA and if he refuses to honor the original agreed upon price that you will be sure to get PCNA involved and made aware of what this dealer is trying to pull. Which dealer is this? There are a lot of Porsche dealers here in California. Most of them are pretty decent but there are a few who have pretty bad reputations.
