In the end, I think it depends on your perspective. Just because it's a leased vehicle, doesn't mean it shouldn't be cared for. Some other porschephille will be taking it over in a few years and I think these aren't commodity vehicles, therefor, shouldn't be treated as such. At a bare minimum, just wrap the bumper if you don't want to spend the $$.

A lot of passion and care goes into making these cars, and most become another family member. I always tell my clients how these cars will outlive us. We're merely their current caretaker.

BTW, if you do decide to get something, do your homework and find out what film is being applied, who's doing it, and what's coverage and warranty. Seen lots of sub-par work by subs that do it for dealers.

Ditto on sub par work by contractors for dealers.

Had a clear bra installed at delivery and there were defects: a captive hair under the bra surface, wavy surface in spots, air bubbles, ragged edges, sloppy turn over in trunk. Dealer had them redo it. Now only the hair is gone. Redo sub par. Dealer refunded the cost to me.

2 year lease, don't think it's worth it. if you track it or plan on taking it on some long/rough road trips, just get some road wrap or painter's tape.

Figure out whom the dealer works worth and then call them personally. My experience was similar to that of gracious. The dealer more than doubles the cost.

Update. I ended up getting the CB, but picked the vendor and negotiated the price. Threw the dealer a few bucks to "coordinate" the install. Although its a 2 year lease, I am particular with my cars and like my cars to look good. Also, if I love the car who knows I might end up keeping it. The final cost was lower than the dealers best quote and now I don't need to worry when I go to the track or road trips to Boston which I do quite often.

Pick up is tomorrow. :-)
