Yes, an interesting notion of "way better".

Question

Are those Fabspeed tips larger in diameter? Or the same as the stock tips?
Is there any difference in shape?

If they are exactly the same, I am thinking about just powder coating my stock tips.

Wow, the car looks amazing. I need these black tips now! I'm glad to see you did plasti-dipped your emblems black also. It's a quick and painless process and the result really looks great!

Hi,

Well, the stock tips seem to have an unfinished metal exhaust tip covered with a chrome sort of wrapper. The Fabspeed have a very smooth, distinctive curve form that surrounds the entire part and imo, feels and looks a lot beefier and more aggressive. I've put a ruler up to roughly show the difference from one aspect.

Thanks for the kind words and comments guys! I've been getting a lot of positive feedback in person when people see 'em up close with the lettering and the vorsteiner lid. So far the plasti dip is holding on great, but I scratched a vossen cv3 matte graphite wheel with the metal garden hose head a few days ago washing the car and need to get that redone, the touch up paint for the wheel is definitely not ideal

Thanks oldman I love your pedals!! Definitely show us the spacers when you are ready. I recd the srp pedals but so far have chickened out on drilling to install them. I might just sell them as maybe I hit my skill limit hehe

Looks great on your car. Personally the look is color dependent. I like the SE tips on my car.

I bought the SRP pedals as well and installed them. The accelerator and dead pedals are the easiest to install - just position pedals where you want it and drill in the self tapping screws. You might want to use clamps to hold them in place before drilling. For the clutch and brake, they are more difficult because you have to drill a hole in order to bolt the new pedals in. Again, best to use a clamp to hold them in place and first drill a pilot hole before before drilling the correct size hole. Also, don't drill all the holes all at once - drill one hole, bolt the pedal in, then drill the other holes. Best advice is to measure many times, drill once. The worse part about it (apart from initial fear factor) is the tight space you have to work in. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Ha, ha, now you got me thinking about doing mine. The black does look great on your car.

I was the only one with black tips (in my neck of the woods) on my ZO6, and I loved them. The "bling" guys hated them. LOL

Question.

Does the Fabspeed tip stick out more than the OEM stock tips?
Base on the pictures it looks that way.
