Paint fixed and breakin done - PCA Driver Skill time :)

I finally got the paint fixed after my horror story with out of state delivery:

recap: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-delivery.html

There is still some very light swirl marks when you look hard enough, but atleast its no longer in your face when there is a single light source. Here's a few "new car" photos

I also finally got past the 2000mi breakin. The first thing I did was take it to a PCA driver skill day to figure out the dynamics and limits of the car. That was the best $75 spent, highly recommended for anyone even if you don't plan on tracking the car. The day involved ripping the car to redline, slamming the brakes, spin out and slalom in a safe environment.

BTW, not sure how accurate the g-meter is on the 991, since the PCA driver skill instructors were like in a small cornering/apex handling exercise, but it pulled 1.2g, not sure if thats impressive or not

Happy you got through the nightmare and are enjoying your car. Car looks AWESOME by the way. I wish they had an event like that in Boise, ID. I'm going to end up going to the Porsche Driving School in Birmingham sometime in the next year.

Thanks! You should see if there is other car chapters in your area that do driver skill days, even though the one I went to was organized by PCA, about 50% was non-P cars - M3, Evo, STI.

I was told the BMW club here also does similar driver skill day, maybe theres a similar one in your area.
