I had matte black wheels on my R8 and hated the way they looked on a black car. They might look good against white, however. I traded them in at Wheels Boutique for HREs in gloss black and had them paint a red pinstripe. I loved the way they came out!

I also had Wheels Boutique paint my OEM wheels "gunmetal" and add the red stripe and they also came out awesome, IMO:

Since GMAC went off-topic, since the Carrera name is so iconic I wonder why there are so many people who want to delete it? All you have to do is glance at it and you know at once that it's a Porsche & that it's a 911 so if I had my druthers, I'd just have mine say "Carrera S", but that's not an option (w/o modding) so mine is going to be the default PORSCHE on top and 911 Carrera S below.

Sorry I know it's not this thread topic but I find it a little busy on the back end, especially if I'm doing an accent colour

mperor, your rims looks fantastic.

The red lining outside of the wheel is not something that P offers in their options rite?

It's all a matter one's personal taste, but I prefer gloss black wheels with shiny black cars.
