PSE installed and impression

Hi Guys,

I got PSE installed right after I got the car. My built is c2 cab with PDK without Sport Chrono.

Definitely an improvement over stock, makes a number of different noises. Though I havent quite figured out under what conditions i can expect a particular type of sound. They are a bit inconsistent, or perhaps i just need more time with the car.

Also, I've read from others that sometime withe PSE on and off, the difference is not significant, this is what i have been experiencing as well. But other times it is night and day, i wonder if this has to do with engine temperature/condition etc?

For those who has the PSE, do you share the same experience?

P.S. if anyone is looking for a brand new base exhaust, PM me.

I know for my C2 Cab the PSE really comes to life when in Sport or Sport Plus mode, not really as noticeable in normal drive setting. In Sport Plus it sounds amazing, plus the top down doesnt hurt either.

I may be imagining it but the pse seemed to get louder with time. Took about 5000 miles

Mine comes alive in Sport Plus mode. Incredible sound and when you let up on the gas it crackles....with the roof down all the better. In normal and Sport mode it gets louder then normal when you kick the accelerator and down shift at speed.

Would you mind telling me how much the total job was, my dealer said it was very expensive for the base car.

That's a great price! They were telling me that it would be about $5000 including the on/off switch integration.

Engine temp makes a difference with mine.
In Sport Plus mode it's an animal, and I don't use it down my street.

keep in mind this is a bundle deal when I got my car, so i had some leverage. also heard the install is a full day event, so at plan 1k + for install, 3k for parts. with taxes etc, 5k sounds not too far off.

It seems that the few folks who have installed PSE after the fact, have a very different experience from those with a factory install.

I wonder if it really is apples to apples, or is something missing after all...
