Tire problem

My tires are wearing quite badly on the outsides on the rear after only 6600 miles and I may have to change them. I'm taking the car in to get it aligned today. Two questions:
1. Has anyone experienced this problem?
2. Has anyone switched to Michelin tires and how do you like them.

Must be out of alignment- mine at 13k miles are wearing evenly and have gone about half way.

I have 6800 miles and one track day 4 sessions and a lot of mountain twisty aggressive driving in sport plus mode

My rear tires are wear heavily on the outer edge of both rear tires, uneven wear on both rear tires, the inner portion have more thread then on wheel outer edge on both tires, the front only slightly wear on outer edge as well

Recently got new lightweight techart formula III and Michelin pilot super sport, so far loving them better then pzeros

Noise seems a tab more but wet grip far better then Pzero and dry grip feels more sticky driving hard on twisty roads, I like them much better then factory Pzero

I just took my car into the dealership and had it looked at by a tech. He said the Pzero's are not as deep a tread on the outside portion and will look like they are wearing wrong when they actually are not. He said the only portion of the tire to measure are the big wide grooves with the wear indicators on them. He said as the tire wears down the edges will actually loose all their tread and become slick, but the only issue with that is that they will not have as much traction in wet conditions.
