The handles are $1200 each. The entire door panel is $1500 though, ridiculous.

Leatherique has a kit with Porsche colors. My dealer said they can replace both the handles in Black Alcantara for $1800, so I'm thinking right now.

Personally, I think it will look very off with your beige color interior. Also $1200 is crazy. You can get a professional to fix your problem for a lot less than that.

Anything black on the luxor matches pretty good. I put black carpets on the floor already, and considered making the door/dash trim in black vs aluminum. Carbon fiber accents work well too on the luxor.

You don't need to re-dye or buy new handles! It's just a blue denim stain...it'll come out!

Do NOT use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on leather. It's an abrasive and will take off the top protective layer, leaving your leather much more susceptible to dirt and staining and wear.

Roger Koh at Leather Doctor is one of the most knowledgable leather people I know and he has helped me restore 2 steering wheels that I thought would have needed replacement and repair a couple of major seat issues. I spent about $100 on a cleaning kit that did a really amazing job.

Check out his forum:

Wow! That's pretty ridiculous. Is dye transfer from Jeans an issue on the seats ?

There can also be an issue with the colour of the seats (I have full red leather) coming off onto light coloured clothes! I bought a leather jacket, white/red trim and the manufacturer in Germany put a special treatment on the jacket (it's mainly white leather) so it wouldn't pick up colouring from the seats. Who would have known. Also, I have heard of colour from jeans getting into light coloured leather before.

The light bluing on my seats wiped away with water on a damp cloth, the pores cleared out by using the leatherique kit. That side mark is what is left after cleaning it several times with different cleaners. It was way worse than what that picture shows before the cleaning. What's leftover, I figure, is a dye transfer that has actually permeated the leather.

Do you have any photos of your carpets? In considering going the same, I think everything in beige inside is to much light

I had a BMW with very light colored leather which I would get some bluing from my jeans. I just used a wet wipe and it cleaned off every time. Don't see why it wouldn't work on a Porsche, I actually got the tip on a BMW forum and I was amazed at how well they worked.
