Well, they're not actually diapers. Griot's sells them as polishing cloths. I use them to finish when microfiber leaves behind streaks. Maybe I need to get better microfiber.

I've been strongly thinking of the Metro air force 8 hp blaster

http://cardryer.com/air-force-blaster-car-dryers

Looks like it could work well.
Anyone have any experience with the product?

A professional concours guy once said cotton diapers.....after they've been washed 100 times...are the best for polishing.

Don't know about drying. Seems they'd quickly get soppy.

I don't dry with them: that's for the Absorber fine-cell synthetic sheet that sucks up water like a sponge. I use the cotton diaper material to buff it afterward to avoid any streaks.

I got one it works great. I tried leaf blowers not really enough air.
I have a dark blue 997 after you get all the swirl mark polished out the best way to keep it that way is not to grind in the dirt with any kind of wipes. This blower minimizes that need. I don't want to polish any more than needed. The clear coat is only so thick.

Hmm. I have a 4-HP doggie grooming blower. I think I'll give that a try. It's made by Metro Air Force and costs $165. My dogs hate it but it's effective on them. Not sure if it'll blow all the water of the car, though. I'll give it a try tomorrow and report back.

I use this waffle drying cloth. Works wonderfully well and it doesn't leave streaks.

Just an update,,,, took the plunge and I love this thing. Gets water out of places I never knew existed. Also great for side mirrors to end the water drip marks on the door. Like the way it does the wheels, rotors and calibers too.

I will never use a drying towel again.
