What up Brandon! Thanks for the compliment, the car has five levels of ride height I always roll and park with the lowest setting . 21's are a must if your considering getting one, 21's and the glass roof for that matter, the roof clearance is an issue without glass if your over 6 feet tall.

I'm trying to talk my wife into getting one. She's very pro-hybrid/electric currently on her 2nd Lexus hybrid. Keep us informed about your new stable partner.
a girl (now my girlfriend) prompted the impromptu purchase. I was certain I would regret it for a while but on the flip side I drive my model S way more than my 991, not saying its better but there's no other car on the road that will command as much respect/haterage as the model S, keep her in your sights at all times and if you charge her publicly always check your phone to make sure no one pulls the cord out. Ppl here in so. cal are crazy about hog free chargers its stupid.

Thank you Suzy, the 16 year old artist behind that song will likely become New Zealand's Madonna if she plays her cards right.

The only thing, and this is a deal breaker for me, is that you have zero sound as you blast a 4 second zero to 60 time. I need engine symphony, its an integral part of performance.
Vic, theres no better than hearing a ferrari 360 modena scream and yelp behind you while trying to get to 2nd gear and your five six cars ahead, it's something I've gotten used to.

Did you see the video where they change the battery pack in 90 seconds? In fact they beat the Audi refueling time by more than double. I'm not sure if that is an option, or a research concept, but it's neat!

20-C4-10, could you please explain a little more what you're saying here; Fueleconomy.gov seems to think is has very good gas equivalents.

Chuck send over some rep points :

During my first full month of ownership with the mS my electric bill went up 2.5 times or $429.00 some odd dollars during this time I still drove the P-car on weekends.

Prior to purchasing the mS I used to only drive the P-car and spent on average 440.00 dollars on gas a month.

Therefore, since I still drove the P-car and my mS I spent more than 429.00 on gas and electricity.

Never trust the electric estimates for a tesla, you'd be suprised how often you travel over 55 mph and how often you'll realize how heavy your foot is when you launch a half a ton car off red lights. the bad thing the car is so big and bulky people don't expect it to be as fast as it is so you get caught off a lot and feel invisible (a feeling we are all quite used to being p-car owners)

onapex is infamous around these parts
great combo. if I had an extra $100k for a second car I'd definitely get the tesla for trips to the market, running errands, etc. perfect complement to a sports car.

BTW the electric land speed record was just set (over 200 MPH) with a car weighing less than 2250 pounds.

okay im starting to get sick of how much attention this car grabs, so i'm putting it up on ebay if any fellow 6speeders want no wait and a pristine perfectly modified car (the only thing you need to do is tint the vehicle there are 9 large pains of glass). Heres the link:
