PSE retrofit question

I am considering putting PSE on my 3.4. I thought I was going to do fabspeed but can't seem to get any answers. I had PSE on my 997 and was always turned off until switched. I am thinking about not putting in a switch which saves a lot of headache. Anyone know if the default is always on, if I don't have a switch put in. I believe that is the case for 997. Thank you.

If there's no switch, then it must (?) always be on. PSE is highly recommended, although I'd opt for the switch. It's nice to be able to hear the engine too when PSE is off

I can tell you that the default is off with the factory installed PSE. As soon as you turn off the car, PSE is off until you press the button again.

Default is off when a switch is connected. It is on all the time if a switch is not installed on a 997, I'm told. Not sure the same for 991.
