991 luggage set
Thank You for saving my sanity!
I bought the 3 piece set for my C2S I collected last month. Must say I am delighted with the quality and the fact you know they will fit in your trunk! Delivery to the UK was only 25 Euro. But USA shipping is much more. At around $200 for the set delivered I think it was a bargain - and takes the stress away of what bags will fit up front.
Can't speak for Airline handling - but in fairness they are not made for that.
The company is difficult to communicate with though and often only gives half an answer! But I think it's just language and they are a solid outfit. My 2c. Paul

How do I go about ordering this luggage? I sent an inquiry e-mail to carsuitcases.com last friday, and I've heard nothing back. Frustrating when you want to give someone your money, and they refuse!

Just bizarre. Why in the heck do they have an American version of the site (carsuitcases.com) if they won't ship to us? Bizarre....
My guess: produced in china, bought for $5.00 a piece and sold with a lot of profit by vague companies who never heard of costumerservice.
Don't know for sure but it's just a guess...

I have the 3pc set which I had shipped to my UK address prior to my car collection at Stuttgart.
1: They seem difficult to deal with as I think they don't speak English very well.
2: We are 100% happy with the quality fit and value.
3: Shipping big empty boxes to the USA is very expensive it could double the price - although it was cheap to the UK.
4: For some reason they only take Paypal, and you cannot directly order online - has to be done by email.
5: They are not aircraft quality and IMO don't need to be!
Hope this helps. I think this is a no brainer for anyone doing a Factory collection and not sure which of their bags will fit!

I should probably rethink this. I was planning to check or carry the luggage on the plane. If I could find out the sizes of the various bags, I could search for more traditional luggage in similar sizes. I haven't been able to ascertain the luggage dimensions in my brief searches, thus far.
The 8 piece set really does seem ingenious in its use of the available space.

I agree with Suzy. My luggage is all from the Porsche catalogue as I too need aircraft quality and I know what fits perfectly by looking in the Porsche catalogue. Yes it's more expensive but the quality is the best and after all when we own/drive the best car why not have the luggage to go with it?

And to be honest... Go buy a high-quality Samsonite set or whatever brand and they'll cost about the same.

I really like how neat these pieces fit in the car. But they are so not for me. Firstly, the amount of eight pieces is simply not handy. How am I going to carry them without walking back and forth four times or looking like a dork. Secondly, I wan't a piece of luggage that suits not only one purpose or fit not only in one car. Thirdly, I usually don't like the looks of luggage sets. Call me vain, but aren't they a bit bourgeois?
My wife and I own a few nice looking and bullet proof duffle bags, weekenders, bag packs and trolleys. Up to now, they worked well for every possible purpose. As soon as my 911 50 gets delivered (in october), I'll find out if I can squeeze some of them in.
