991 luggage set

I found this set online: http://www.kfz-schutzdecken.de/Luggage-for-Porsche-911-991-Coupe-Cabrio

8 piece, so you can take loads. But it seems too cheap to me. 419 euro (about 500$)

Has anyone bought these? If so, how's the quality?

Quality

I'm gonna that a flyer here and say that for $62.50 each, the quality is probably not what you would get in a Hartman bag. But then again, as long as you don't ever let anyone from United Airlines touch them, they may last a couple of years. Plus, if you put all of those bags in your 911, you won't be able to see out the back and you may think you are driving a Lamborghini Countach. Pretty cheap upgrade.

looks "cheap" to me (price reflects it). i'm fine w/ cheap luggage. but if you're going to splurge get some porsche design or driver selection luggage. at least it'll say "porsche" on the bags.

Dimension of the frunk interior. Has anyone measured theirs? I haven't gone back to the dealer and I tried to search online without success, mostly get how much cubic ft, which is not useful to see what luggage one might be able to fit.

That's amazing! I can't believe they took the time to design it to fit so well, then cheaper-out on materials.

I don't think it looks cheap at all. Looks like they are nice traditional looking canvas bags. No fancy space age materials, so it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. I happen to think that the porsche driver selection bags are way overpriced and not that great in quality (for the price especially)

I cannot for the life of me figure out the German, but there appears to be the older style "ROADSTERBAG® Koffer" and newer (better??) "NEU: CABRIA® Luxus-Koffer" I've got no idea what the difference is. I've been eyeing them for a while, I have not found a way of getting them stateside.

I'm super happy with the luggage space in the 911. In the nose alone you can fit 3 of these bags standing up straight.

With the rear seats flat, you cant fit looooads in the back too.

Cabria is another brand they've created. Basically the suitcases are the same, except the material. The Cabria suitcases are also handmade but made from real Italian leather. (No idea what makes Italian leather better than other leather, besides the fact that it is Italian, just like one half of me )

Both Cabria sets for the 991 (front & rear) together cost € 948,- (about $1,250.00).

I have been trying to buy a set of these but cant get them to answer if the bags will fit in a 991 C4S. They say it will fit in 991 S but since the 4S has a smaller frunk I want to make sure they will fit. Anyone know? They actually sent me a quote for a set but when I asked them about the size difference that wont answer.

On the German website they confirm that the luggage set wil fit the 4wd models of the 996, 997 and 991.
They also seem to have a US website, but they don't offer the Cabria suitcases. Also there are second German website for some reason. It's a bit confusing...

German website: http://www.roadster-concept.de/

2nd German website: http://www.roadsterbag.info/index.html

U.S. website: http://www.carsuitcases.com/

I took a look and all I could find is the following:

"This suitcase set will fit the 996 and 997 4S as well!"

I cant find that it will fit the 991 4S. Is this what you are referring to or am i blind?

You are absolutely right.... Think it's me who needs to go see an optician.
These suitcases only fit in the 997 C4(S)....

Too bad... I have a C4S on order so I guess I have to find something else... Or cancel the order because the suitcases won't fit.... LOL
