991 "Hood Vent"

So, I did this quick photoshop to mock up what it might look like. I have always wondered how a modern Porsche would look with that classic feature. I was also hoping that they would add it for the 50th anniversary edition, but we all know how that turned out. The "hood vent" was always one of my favorite classic features.

So cool! Great job. It definitely gives it a classic look. Took the whole thing back 50 years in one shot

Sorry I'm a bit too critical sometimes
But you did a nice job... I just don't like the idea personally, but that's nothing for you to worry about. It's just me

I've seen that one, but personally didn't like it. I'm not trying to say I would even put a vent hood on my 991, I was just curious.

Classic, but draggy. Then again, the 991 already has many features (including the high rev engine) that provide a good classic feeling without adding shortcomings.

Isn't that reference referring to a GT3 vent, not an old 911 cabin vent?

Yes - if you look at the photo, they added the vent in front of the cabin vent - the position on the hood had a dramatic effect on the downforce. I added the link as an interesting side note:
