I tried with Durametric and it does not seem to work the clear messages triggered by the software bug (works in case of a legitimate service message though). Will try again and report.

Mine has the same problem. Fix should be out shortly, however, my service tech told me when the fix comes out it will reset everything as if it is a new car off the production line. There will not be a way for the dealership to manually set the service clock.

As an FYI this same issue is plaguing new 981 Cayman on Planet9 as well. Definitely a software glitch.

Collected my car yesterday from the dealer. Porsche Australia is now aware of the problem and seems the patch PAG supplied also doesnt work - the problem just popped up again. Dealer said PAG is working on the software and will call when the solution is at hand. Service manager kindly said they would do something to compensate for the hassle. Will keep you all updated.
