Collection day tomorrow!!

Getting very excited as finally collecting my 991 Carrara White C2S tomorrow afternoon. Packed with more options than you can poke a stick I'm going to be busy figuring it all out. Thanks all for your advice in getting it together. Hope to post some driving pics soon.

Forget about resisting the urge, just vary the revs and do what comes natural.

Enjoy!

What i did was (is) always warm up the engine really well. Maybe during the first 100 miles (an hour...) I wouldn't abuse it. But these engines are pre-tested so i think it's safe.

Im at 8,000 miles now since November and every day it gets better.

I hope this helps. Enjoy the experience!

Your car looks awesome! Do what LRattner said and you should be fine. According to my salesmen, the Porsche driving instructors counsel the same.

Awesome Car,

Been wondering about the 4,000 RPM break-in limit myself.

Service Rep at dealer says to let her rip..., you won't hurt it. I've been observing the 4,000 RPM so far. One thousand miles to go and looking forward to it.

ENJOY!

I think it's more like: Damn, thoes cars are cheap in the U.S. LOL

But you're right, normally I think it's even more than 25% on options. I'm close to 40%

Not as bad % on options as I had. C2S Cab with additional 48.6% in options over base S Cab price in Canada!
